Last month I shot a denim story for the fashion website Style Sight. It featured the hand painted denim jackets of Ornimental Conifer and the jackets were worn by his Kingdom of Kicks crew.
This is a portrait of Ken Facal and Wing Commander Rob Scott, who saved Kens sight in one eye after he was caught in an IED blast in Helmand Provence, Afghanistan.
According to Rob, Ken still has Afghan soil in his eye and since the soil is made mainly of quartz “its like there are little stars in the middle of his eye”.
Having finally got my full bike licence this summer I was extremely excited to be sent to the Isle of Man TT to photograph Guy Martin for Dainese.
Thanks to the writer Gary Inmans close relationship with Guy we were lucky enough to spend the eve of the first day of racing with him in a lockup he’d rented, where he worked on his 350bhp bike in his downtime.
